How are you defining a “musical retelling”? My mind went to Wicked which is a musical retelling of the book Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. However, I’m not sure if that’s what you mean. Any guidance helps. Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing. I’ve planned my entire month except for this one. Books that have inspired musicals???

BookishFirst leaves prompts open to interpretation, so if you think it fits, it counts! My first thought was Wintersong, by S. Jae-Jones, which is a retelling of the movie Labyrinth, featuring a musician heroine.
