My favorite mystery author is Louise Penny followed by Craig Johnson. Their writing is similar in that they do research for their books, tell a good story and have great characters in their books.

I think Tana French is my most read author. Emily St. John Mandel is another go-to of mine. and Alex Michaelides is someone that I think I will always pay attention to.
