Some of my favorite book adaptations are: The Martian, Lord of the Rings, and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before just to name a few.

Outlander was one of my favorite adaptations. I think they casted the characters very well.

Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Princess Bride, Sherlock Holmes

Mainly Star Wars, but I did love some dystopian adaptations such as The Hunger Games and The Maze Runner movies!

I love Lord of the Rings! And, The Notebook

Anne of Green Gables!

A Game of Thrones - I actually saw seasons 1-2 before getting into the books. True Blood was good too even though there is much to complain about (the same could be said about A Game of Thrones).

Catching fire is definitely one of my favorites!

Anne of Green Gables and The Sun is Also a Star

One of the best adaptations I’ve seen of a contemporary book was Behind Her Eyes on Netflix. I was OBSESSED when I read the book and even though I knew what was happening, I was still shocked by the show.

My favorite is probably Divergent.

Harry Potter, cliche but both the movies and the books are near and dear to my heart

My favorite adaptation is the hunger games

My favorite book adaptations are Shadow & Bone, The Hunger Games, and Divergent!

It, Anne of green gables, Lotr/hobbit, game of thrones, shadow and bone

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (but NOT the Hobbit)!

So many. Little women, Wuthering heights, Dracula.

Favorite book adaptation has to be the 2005 Pride and Prejudice movie! I had so much fun studying it in a course last year and it’s one of my comfort movies.

I have a few.

Netflix’s Anne with an E series (Anne of Green Gables)
Outlander series
Pride and Prejudice with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth
Queen of the Damned
Netflix’s Ophelia (Hamlet from Ophelia’s perspective)
Much Ado About Nothing
Mansfield Park (Masterpiece Theatre)
Princess Bride
The Last Unicorn (loved it from childhood)
Romeo and Juliet (1968 and 2013 versions)
Sense & Sensibility (2002 and 2008)

And probably many more! Too many to name a favorite.
