Friday Question #11: Do you read highly anticipated books right away?

Depends if the topic and/or my mood.

Depends on the author

If I can get my hands on an arc! Otherwise I have to wait until my library gets it in.

If it’s a series, I wait several years for the whole series to be finished and THEN read the first one so that when I love it I don’t have to wait to continue it. :joy:

Depends on the book and author. Books by Kristin Hannah, Elin Hilderbrand, Dorothea Benton Frank, Mary Alice Monroe, Debbbie Macomber, Sherryl Woods, Robyn Carr, are usually pushed to the top of the reading pile for me.

I usually have a schedule of reading. I plan to switch up genres, or read a couple in tandem. However, if a highly anticipated read is released sometimes I cannot resist to put a book on the back burner to start it.

It depends, if the book is really really good I usually fly through it although not on purpose hahaha

I usually have 20 books or so in my TBR pile so I don’t buy new ones right away. I make a list of them and buy then as I can with Amazon GCs.

Sometimes I will if it is by a author that I really love
