I remember I used to enjoy reading Pony Pals and Animal Ark when I was little but the series that really got me reading a lot was Harry Potter.

I loved picture books when i was a preschooler but, no doubt about it, the Nancy Drew Mystery series made me a reader and a life-long fan of mysteries as well.

Definitely the Harry Potter & Percy Jackson series, and also Little Women oddly enough, which I still reread almost every year!

I still love Lois Lowry’s The Giver, and to this day sci-fi and dystopia are my fav reads.

I’ve been a reader since I was 4, so I don’t remember much about my earliest books. But the Anne of Green Gables series was definitely important to me when I was young!

Berenstien Bears, Amelia Bedilia, Barbar the Elephant, and The Babysitters Club were my favorites when I was young. Then my mom bought me Great Expectations and that got me hooked on Charles Dickens and after that I could never be without a book!
I always loved animal stories (like Charlotte’s Web) even if they made me cry. However, the Nancy Drew series was what really hooked me.
