Friday Question #169 - Favorite May 2023 Read

Happy Friday, Readers!

What was your favorite read of May?

An American Beauty by Shana Abe. It’s about Arabella Huntington’s life. I also loved the time, settings, details as well. She was a remarkable woman who rose from nothing to gain a place in high society and became a well known philanthropist.

Circus of Wonders by Elizabeth MacNeal and The Library Book by Susan Orlean

Happy Place by Emily Henry.

Star Splitter, by Matthew J Kirby. It was a delightful surprise for me, I don’t normally go for space. I couldn’t put it down. Neat concept.

My favorite read of May was UNDER A POLE STAR By Stef Penney

That’s hard! I read three that I absolutely loved!

  1. Daisy Jones and the Six
  2. The Gentlemen’s Guide to Vice and Virtue
  3. Yellowface

My surprise favorite was Love, Pamela, the new memoir by Pamela Anderson. I listened to the audiobook, which she narrated herself. I was really moved by her story and impressed by her resilience.

The Senator’s Wife by Liv Constantine was my fave!

Can’t pick just one!

  1. Random Shit Flying Through the Air by Jackson Ford (second in series)
