I would say The Dark Tower by Stephen King, but it’s not the ending that shocked me, it was something else.

Shocking weird would have been the Marbury Lens by by Andrew Smith. It was one of the weirdest reading experiences I’ve had, and I’m still not sure how I feel about it.

Queen in the Pawn Series by Aimee Carter.

Clockwork orange. I had to reread some parts to be sure I wasn’t reading some of those parts one!

Its the 7 Dials Mystery by Agatha Christie for me. It was one of my first mystery books and the twist it took caught me completely off guard. I was gaping when I first read it.

Geek Love by Katherine Dunn. Shocking and disturbing.
