What is a book that surprised you? It could be for good or bad reasons. You didn’t expect to love it or you expected it to be a new favorite and it wasn’t.

The Blackcoat Rebellion series by Aimee Carter surprised me by being WAY better than I was expecting. The same goes for Heartless by Marissa Meyer and The Diabolic series by S.J. Kincaid!

The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. Absolutely sucks you in, cannot wait for the 2nd book in September!!

Lady Derring Takes a Lover by Julie Anne Long - a historical romance I hadn’t heard about, but was very fun!

The book that surprised me mouth was “a discovery of witches”. It was for book club as I would not have selected anything on witches and vampires. But I absolutely loved it. Love the timeline. It was well written. I liked it so much I read a follow up. Thank you book club
