I would love to review children’s picture books. I have two little ones and we love books and talking about the pictures

Agreed! If measuring by “formal”/academic standards for good literature or analyzing from a literary criticism perspective, MG can absolutely be higher quality, deeper, and better written than YA or adult.
I think that at least for the last few decades since online book sales exploded and more publishers entered the scene, age (MG/YA/adult) and genre (speculative/romance/mystery/literary/memoir) labels have become more of a marketing tactic than an accurate categorization of the writing.

I review a lot of children’s pictures books and middle school books on Goodreads and my blog.
It depends. Middle grade I think are okay but for picture books, they’re best when you’re actually holding the physical books!
