Rainy Reads Recommendations

Hello, I already picked up a book with rain on the cover, but I was hoping people would be interested in recommending rainy or gray day reads. I want more books that evoke that rainy or windy/ overcast feeling. Those indie bookstore/ cabin by the lake vibes. You know what I mean, right? The tone is just so comfy and gray. I don’t care about the genre because most can have this mood.

Books that had that feeling for me were
The Apartment- sl grey
The Music Shop- Joyce
The Shape of Water- Del Torro
Post Office- Bukowski
142 Ostriches- Davila

“The Fate of Mercy Alban” - Wendy Webb

Oooo! I did read Daughters of the Lake. You’re right, total moody vibes. It’s good to know Webb’s other books have a similar feel. I’ll have to read them.
A few of these are on my tbr and I’ll have to bump them up.
I’m not huge on movies, I prefer books. I wish there was a book version of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. My favorite movie and has these moody vibes I love.
Thanks for the recommendations!
