I feel like you guys have kind of up and disappeared on us, @bookishfirst_team.
No new books for this week yet. No new Friday question. No real shipping updates on many titles. Email responses are fairly generic.
I understand things happen, but we’re still your “customers” and deserve more updates, if even just a general, “hey guys! we’re sorry about the lacking ARCs, but unfortunately the publishers haven’t given us any updates…” Or something like that. We shouldn’t have to do the leg work of trying to get the publishers to talk to us, as most don’t anyway.
Maybe it’s just me, but it just feels a little odd.
