Friday Question #186 - Books with Aliens

Happy Friday, Readers!

Share a book with aliens and help a reader check off a square on their October Bookish Bingo board :alien:

I don’t read a lot of sci-fi and aliens/UFOs would probably be my least favorite sci-fi/fantasy theme, but some possibilities come to mind:

  • 8cc17dc1f745fd7596a6d357877426b41414141_v5 Mothership by Martin Leicht (pregnant teens on a spaceship)
  • Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
  • The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet (Becky Chambers’ Wayfarer series)

graphic novels:

  • 8cc17dc1f745fd7596a6d357877426b41414141_v5 Earth Boy (Paul Tobin, teen/middlegrade series)
  • Star Scouts (Mike Lawrence, kid series)
  • Sanity & Talullah (Molly Brooks, kid series)
  • Binky the Space Cat (Ashley Spires, kid series–technically “space” is outside the house and the “aliens” are bugs, but I think you could still count this if you wanted to)
  • First Cat in Space (Mac Barnett, kid series)

I read a Doctor Who novel, but also The Humans by Matt Haig would tick this one off?

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Ruby Dixon’s Ice Planet Barbarians.
