Hi! Sorry I missed the party. Back working on site and lifeā€¦it is what it is!

My name Janet. I have been reading but maybe not as fast as I did but still reading. I admit, I have been sticking mostly to cozies or starting some Christmas books. Anything to take me away and keep me distracted in a good way.

While down, one book I liked was Guest List by Lucy Foley. More of a thrilled but no nightmares. Another, with a lighter note was an arc of The Twelve Dates of Christmas by Jenny Bayliss. It was fun and publishes 11/13 if I remember right.

I most look forward to any holiday books and ones that make me smile during this time of year.

Thanks for mentioning Holidaze! I just added it to my list :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi, my name is Adriana, but feel free to call me Nina since itā€™s the name I use for all my hobbies
Best book is hard to decide, but I recently read Addie LaRue and itā€™s worthy of all the hype and more.
A book Iā€™m excited to read soon is Tsarina by Ellen Alpsten (Nov canā€™t come soon enough).

Itā€™s not exactly top of all time because thatā€™s impossible to decide, but I recently read the Bow Street Bachelors by Kate Bateman and I loved every single thing about them. Totally the one Iā€™m recommending lately.

My name is Hannah! I would love to meet more bookish people :). I just recently read Iā€™m Not Your Manic Pixie Dream Girl (which I really liked! <3). A book Iā€™m excited to read is too hard because of my long list of tbr! But I think Iā€™ll be reading Storm Siren next. Please let me know what else to add to my TBR!

Oooh! I love cozies and Christmas books! I read A Very Lucky Christmas a couple of days ago and it is too cute for words! Iā€™ve also read Twelve Dates of Christmas! How did you like it?

Thanks for the recommendation!

Thank you so much for all the suggestions! Ive actually never heard of any of them so Iā€™m SO excited to check them out! Again, thank you so much for such a thoughtful response!

Yay welcome back!! My nickname is Katie, the best book Iā€™ve read since the forum was down was In the Dream House, and a book Iā€™m excited to read soon is Clap When You Land.

Hey Katieā€“Iā€™m also Katie!

I have The Family Upstairs sitting on my shelf just waiting to be read. I read Watching You by the same author earlier in the year and loved it. Happy reading!

I really liked the 12 Dates. Different approach and I liked seeing how it would play out. Fun read.

Iā€™m Brooklyn, and I think the best book Iā€™ve read is Raybearer by Jordan Ifueko? It completely raised my standards for YA fantasy. As for a book Iā€™m excited to read soon, my copy of The Invisible Life of Addie Larue by V.E. Shwab is on its way, so Iā€™m pretty hyped for that : )

Ooooh The Bone Witch. I read that a couple years ago and have vague recollections of it being pretty good??? Clearly I either a) read too many books (impossible) because I canā€™t remember anything ever, or b) just have a really bad memory. Actually, that one is probably true regardless.

Hi everyone. My name is Breana. One of my favorite recent reads is The Bright and Breaking Sea by Chloe Neill. And a book Iā€™m looking forward to reading soon is Artificial Condition by Martha Wells.

Itā€™s been a while since I read The Bone Witch, and I also remember really liking the story. This reminds me that I need to check out the rest of the books in the series.

Hi, Iā€™m Kate. The best book Iā€™ve read since the forum was down was The Silent Patient. Very suspenseful! Iā€™m looking forward to reading To Sleep in a Sea of Stars as I read the First Look, but didnā€™t win the raffle. Happy to be back on the Forum!

I was hoping to receive Skyhunter as I LOVE Marie Luā€™s books (Iā€™ve read them all too!), so Iā€™ll have to wait patiently until I can get my hands on it since I didā€™t win the raffle.
